Descripción

Launched in around 1510, The Mary Rose was a large and innovative warship of her day. Her wooden hull, through partly eroded during her time underwater, provides many insights into the building methods of the time. It has also inspired an investigation of design practices, while some of the artefacts tell us about her masts and rigging. She carried a great  variety of guns during her long career and many of these and their associated equipment have been recovered from the wreck, throwing light on how guns were made and used in action. Other weapons, such as longbows, open a window onto the combat techniques of the period. (SIN STOCK, AGOTADO EN EDITORIAL)
